Well thank you for the birthday wishes.....But, the little birdie was wrong. I am only 49 LOL That birdie thought I was the big 50 last year too LOL

Right now I am in Pittston, PA. nice weather only 70 degrees yesterday when I got here. In the last 2 weeks I have gone from Ice on the roads and snow on the ground to this LOL. Morning fog to lovely weather. The trees are turning all sorts of colors here in the North east and it is beautiful to drive through.

That little bird just teased you about "PUSHING 50"... she remembers very well the day & time she hatched her egg on October 20th, 1960. And hey, you really are pushing it NOW! Chirp Chirp

I know I know. It has been a long time since I have updated my travels. Well here I am typing to you from Wytheville, VA. It is a cool 38 degrees outside with a strong wind. Strong enough it rocks the truck and trailer. Maybe it will rock me to sleep tonight.

My travels have taken me to the north, WI, MI, KS, IL, IN, OH and PA recently. This leg or pick up and drop off took me into West Virgina and Virgina. Now I will pick up in Wytheville in the morning and head off to Grand Prairie, TX for a delievery on Monday morning.

My company has probably unknowningly tested me on this outing which will be around 4 weeks give or take a few days. I have driven early morning, which I perfer. And I have done a few all night driving too. Which I dont like after getting up early in the morning to make a delievery and then dont pick up again until 10 pm and then need to deliever at 6am the next morning. But with all jobs you must take the good with the bad.

Yes I do enjoy it. I enjoy driving and I love seeing the country side. I enjoy the challenges of driving in confind area made for a vw, or the tight parking that must be done on side streets. I do perfer the drop and hooks over the live off loads or live loads as it can save me from a minuium of 1 hour to up to 4 hours in a day.

Please don't forget to make a post if you have questions.
Keep on Truckin :ugeek:
