Lyrica & Aleve ???

hi everyone.
i have been reading back over the messages in this section.
my memory is short as i surprised myself with some of my past messages.

i am currently weaning myself off of the lyrica. i quit taking my morning dose of 150mg
months ago and didn't seem to notice much if any difference
in the level of pain and burning in my feet and i just don't feel it is working for me anymore.
i hope those of you who are still taking the lyrica are
finding better results.

i have been using cold packs on my feet at night and this helps me as much if not more
than any meds i have taken.

i wish there were better answers for us.
i would love to be pain free or even somewhat pain free.

Good to see ya posting and that people are reading the forums.
As for Lyrica, well I was on it for over 3 years maybe even4. Heck I really don't remember. I was up to 150mg normal dose and 300mg on a bad day. Well believe it or not I lost a job because I was taking Lyrica. The doctor would not pass me on my DOT physical because of it. I quit taking Lyrica cold turkey back in May of 2009. No side effects and really no difference. Some days I have aches and pain and just pop a couple of extra strength tylenol and keep on trucking. And yep that is what I am doing. I drive a truck from coast to coast now. Hope all is well and that you have a great day
