Is there any other way to lose weight besides dieting and exercising? It's really hard to focus on dieting and exercise when there are just too many work to do. Is there any other solutions other than the both mentioned?

oh, don't I wish there was a magic way to lose weight!! :) I gained so much when I was on the steroids (prednisone) for 10 years with my lupus...and it's taken me 5 years to loose 50 pounds of it, but am still about 20 pounds from the weight I was before. And in fact right now it's a bit of a sore subject for me, as somehow I let myself put on 6 new lbs. So many of the meds we take for lupus and fibro and arthritis, etc. encourage us to be hungry, so the eating is a big problem.

But there really is no way to lose weight unless you eat fewer calories, or burn more calories by extra movement (also known as exercise). I seem to have cravings lately and can't figure out why...maybe it's the weather which is very hot where I am at present time. Hot & humid here in Texas...and we're going to head north here soon hoping to find cooler temps. :D

What illness are you dealing with...or illnesses as it so often is?
